The Emory Student Center Welcome Desk has equipment for recreation and to help your next on-campus event be successful!
Equipment can be rented for free through the RecRe boxes located on the 2nd floor Commons and South Recreation Lounge.
- Box A in the Recreation Lounge: Video game controllers, billiards, pool cues
- Box B in the Commons: Board games, 2 PA systems*
- How to check out equipment:
- Scan the QR code to start the rental process and pick up the equipment right from the boxes.
- You will be required to enter valid credit/debit card information. You WILL NOT be charged if equipment is returned on time and in good condition.
- Damaged equipment and late returns may concur fees.
*If renting a PA system for the Campus Life Pavillion, please use the directions below.
The following equipment is available for rental on a first come, first served basis through "The Hub" (When logged in, search "ESC Equipment Rental Form" under the forms tab
- The following items can be added on to your PA reservation (depending on availability):
- Portable Screens
- Keyboard - includes keyboard, power cable, and foot pedal
- All Equipment Must Be Returned The Following Day by 7:30pm.*

Weekdays: 8:00am-8:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am-8:00pm
*Please Note: We stop checking out equipments after 7:30pm every day.
Reservation Agreement Policies
When you rent out equipment from the SCOE welcome desk you are agreeing to the following statements:
- To safely return this equipment, whether loaned or rented, by closing time on the date due.
- To assume full responsibility for the equipment during the term of the loan or rental, including damage to/loss/theft of equipment, or of any part of the equipment
- To agree to pay all appropriate late fees, replacement and /or repair expenses due to negligence
- To assume full responsibility for set-up and operation of this equipment, and understand that the Student Center Events & Operations Office is NOT responsible for set-up and operation of this equipment, and understand that the Student Center is not responsible for providing technical support.
- To understand that replacement equipment may be provided based on availability, but not guaranteed
- To agree to pay A LATE FEE OF TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) PER DAY for equipment returned after “Return Due Date” above.
**NOTE: You as an individual are assuming full responsibility for this equipment, EVEN if you are checking the equipment out of an organization or department. You will be held responsible for any charges, repairs, and/or fees associated with the rental.**
