The Emory Student Center, a prominent destination on Emory’s campus overlooking McDonough Field, offers unparalleled versatility and convenience for students. Accessible 24 hours a day to Emory students with their EmoryCard, the center features a dining hall, numerous gathering spaces, and meeting rooms for recognizedstudent organizations to host events.

Hours of Operation
  • Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Holiday Hours

  • Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on university holiday hours and activities.

Welcome Desk

2nd Floor, North Pavilion

The Welcome Desk, staffed by friendly and knowledgeable student employees, ensures visitors' welcoming and supportive experience. They assist with general campus questions, directions, resource information, building reservations, and space bookings for meetings and events. The staff also provides information on upcoming events, distributes brochures and campus maps, and addresses other visitor inquiries, ensuring a high-quality experience at the Emory Student Centers.

Directions & Parking

The Emory Student Center (ESC) is accessible to pedestrians from all directions. Once you are on campus, use the Visitor Map to get to the ESC.

Most visitors coming to campus by vehicle park at the Peavine Visitor Parking Lot or Peavine Parking Deck and enter the ESC on the first floor. See Visitor Parking Map and Emory Transportation and Parking Services for rates. Parking is typically free on weekends and after 4 p.m. on weekdays.

Use the address for one of the drop-off points and use the Visitor Parking map for the easiest navigation to the ESC:

  • Drop off 1: 4 Eagle Row, Atlanta, GA 30322
  • Drop off 2: 630 Means Drive, Atlanta, GA 30322

Many people arriving on campus by shuttle or public transportation will get off at the Emory Transit Hub. From there, walking the short, most direct route to the Emory Student Center will take you to the second floor of the building.

Offices Located in the ESC

The Student Center Operations and Events (SCOE) staff support programming and building operations for the Alumni Memorial University Center (AMUC), Cox Hall Third Floor (Identity Centers), and the Emory Student Center (ESC), which serves as the Atlanta campus student union. SCOE also provides event services for additional spaces on campus, including the Campus Life Pavilion and the outdoor spaces around the student centers. The Event Services team in SCOE is also available to assist with planning a meeting or activity.

Student Governance Services (SGS) works with the student governing bodies (SGA, GSGA, divisions within these entities) to manage the day-to-day operations of student organization finance. SGS assists student groups with processing payments, transferring funds, and general support and management of student organization financial accounts.

Currently, the CCE facilitates more than 150 partnerships with numerous nonprofits, governmental agencies, and community groups to address important social issues.
